Library

The library for Byzantine Archaeology and Art History is part of the Departmental Library of Classical and Ancient Studies at the University of Heidelberg. It currently contains about 4600 volumes of research literature on the art and culture of Christian Late Antiquity and the Byzantine Middle Ages. It is located together with the library for Classical Archaeology on the third floor of the college building Marstallhof 4. It is a reference library, i.e. lending is only possible in justified exceptions upon request.
