Call for Applications for PhD Fellowships for the academic year 2011-2012

The Martin Buber Society of Fellows at the Hebrew Universtiy, Jerusalem - a joint venture of the German BMBF and the Hebrew University is happy to announce up to two Fellowships for doctoral students in all fields of Humanities and Social Science for the academic year 2011-2012.
Fellows receive, in addition to a generous stipend, subsidized housing and offices at the Hebrew University and participate in the vibrant intellectual life of the Society, including bi-weekly Colloquia, study excursions, and workshops and seminars. No special connection to Jewish studies or Israel is required. We are looking for creative humanists and social scientists with broad intellectual horizons. Discussions in the Martin Buber Society will take place in English (not in Hebrew or German).
