This event on knowledge transfer of cutting edge findings and solutions for sustainable Global Health through Early Diagnosis & Prevention is a multidisciplinary forum for leading medical experts, stakeholders, decision-makers and practitioners from diverse fields.
The conference is organized under the patronage of the Federal German Minister for Education and Research, Prof. Dr. Annette Schavan. Official organizers are the University of Heidelberg, UNU-IIGH (United Nations University - International Institute for Global Health), and Gemini AG - Association for Knowledge Transfer and Implementation, in cooperation with and supported by CEL (Center for Evolutionary Learning), UNESCO-UNEVOC (UNESCO's International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and IHPH (Institute for Hygiene and Public Health of the University of Bonn).
We aim at sharing knowledge, best practices and insights for working on a holistic strategy for effectively achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the UN-Decades "Education for Sustainable Development" and "Water for Life" with regard to sustainable global health.
