Call for Proposals HEIDELBERG INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL 2018
Please find enclosed the call for applications for the 2018 Heidelberg International Summer School for Doctoral Students.
The aim of this programme is to strengthen Heidelberg University’s collaborations with renowned international partner institutions, to create academic ties among Europe, Latin America, and Asia and to promote networks of young researchers from these regions. Fostering the careers of excellent doctoral students towards supporting their early scientific independence takes centre stage. To this end, the summer school should provide scope for developing new project ideas, for creativity and for networking with peers and internationally-renowned experts alike.
The format of the summer school follows the idea of the successful series of summer schools for doctoral students in the years 2013-2017 (http://www.uni-heidelberg.de/forschung/international/santander_summer_schools/).
