CfA for publication grants through the Excellence Initiative
Deadline: 6 October 2014

The Graduate Academy will again be awarding two or more publication grants of up to a maximum of 1500 € for the year 2015 to support the publication of high quality doctoral dissertations. Candidates who completed their doctoral training at Heidelberg University within the 12 months before the application deadline and who received a final grade of summa cum laude, Mit Auszeichnung, or magna cum laude (only in special cases) on their dissertation are eligible to apply. This award can be granted to applicants whose dissertations cannot be published electronically or whose academic careers would be substantially advanced by the publication of their dissertations by a well-respected publishing house.

Application deadline: 6 October 2014
Earliest funding begin: January 2015
