CfA for completion grants for doctoral students through the Excellence Initiative

The Graduate Academy of Heidelberg University awards funding support to doctoral candidates in the final phase of their doctoral training, who receive no current funding. Completion grants of up to a maximum of 1,000 € per month can be awarded for a duration of no more than 6 months before submitting the dissertation to the Faculty (excl. Disputation/Rigorosum). Funding will be granted only for the writing process of the dissertation, which has to be completed and submitted at the end of the funding period.

Application deadline: 9 October 2014
Earliest funding begin: January 2015
