Symplectic geometry and anosov flows
The aim of the workshop is to explore the extent to which Symplectic Geometry may be leveraged in the study of Anosov flows, following recent advances at this interface. This is therefore an event which aims to bring together two different fields and communities. There will be two mini-courses delivered by two distinguished speakers in their respective fields, as well as talks from experts in both communities. We also aim at producing a proceedings consisting of papers from each speaker plus other invited contributors, to be published in book format by Springer, which will serve as a self-contained reference. Therefore we expect the workshop to have long lasting impact.
