MCTDH Summer School 2023

The MCTDH Summer School 2023 will offer an introduction to the theory of the MCTDH method for quantum molecular dynamics, and hands on exercises and tutorials using the Heidelberg MCTDH package. The school is aimed at PhD students working or intending to work in the field of quantum dynamics. The topics covered will include general elements of quantum dynamics (basis for the wave functions’ representation, integration schemes, representation of the potential, coordinate systems) and an introduction to advanced topics including the description of identical particles, the extension to multilayer MCTDH, and the connection of the MCTDH to DMRG and general tensor network approaches.
