Wednesday, May 7th 2025, 12:00-14:00, Online
In this two-hour online workshop, we will explore the realistic capabilities and limitations of generative AI in supporting research across various stages—from literature reviews to developing questions and hypotheses, collecting, analysing, and visualizing data, to writing articles, abstracts, and proposals. Although you might have heard bold claims that AI can handle all these tasks effortlessly, the reality requires a nuanced understanding.

This session is designed for participants across the knowledge spectrum. Whether you're just starting or have some experience with AI tools, this workshop will provide valuable insights and practical tips. Expect to leave with a clearer understanding of how to leverage AI effectively and ethically in your research endeavours. Accompanying materials will be provided to help you independently explore the potential and limitations of these tools, equipping you to make informed decisions about integrating AI into your research process.
