Station 2 - Entrepreneurial Skills Specialization modules

Station two offers the opportunity to deepen the content covered in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Basics course. There are two modules to choose from, which alternate each semester.

Summer Semester 2025

Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship

The module aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of social entrepreneurship as an innovative approach to solving social challenges. They learn to systematically analyze social and ecological problems, develop creative and sustainable business models and combine entrepreneurial thinking with impact.

Wintersemester 2025/2026

Innovation Management 

The module enables students to strategically understand, plan and practically implement innovation processes. They learn to systematically transform creative ideas into marketable products, services or business models. At the same time, they develop entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving skills and an understanding of the diverse framework conditions for successful innovation. 

It provides students with basic and advanced skills in the development and management of innovation processes - both in the context of entrepreneurship (start-ups) and intrapreneurship (innovation within existing organizations).

Innovation for Future? – Opportunities for Accelerating Climate Action

The seminar "Innovation for Future? - Opportunities for Accelerating Climate Action" looks at how a shift in social, political, economic and technological innovation can make significant progress towards a more sustainable society and effective climate action. The aim of the seminar is to highlight the opportunities and challenges of concepts such as the circular bioeconomy, restorative and regenerative development and technological progress. Participants will discuss political, social and economic framework conditions and factors for innovation and then put their theories into practice by going through an innovation management process and developing solutions that will be presented in short pitches at the end.
