Functions:
- Technical and sientific staff for lab organisation
- Development and support for analysis of arsenic-species (As(III) and As(V))
- Support for ICP-OES and other analytical domains
- Support in the actual scientific projects of the Institute
- Operative implementation of field campagnes
- Teaching in bachelor and master courses
Analytik:
- ICP-OES (Agilent ICP-OES 720 und Varian Vista MPX) - Elemental analysis in solutions and digestions
- Multielement analysis (cations) in different solutions like water samples or eluates, as well as digestion solutions of soil and sediments.

- Analysis of arsenic species (As(III) und As(V))
- Analysis of arsenic species in water samples and eluates with Hydride Generation. An ICP-AES (Agilent ICP-OES 720) is used for detection. The method offers the possibility for quantification of As(III) and As(V) in natural and synthetic samples.
