Research focus

Nora Heinzelmann specialised in ethics and action theory and graduated with a thesis on weakness of will.

Prof. Heinzelmann's many years of interdisciplinary experience include research projects on the ethics of genetic technologies, digital and vaccination ethics in collaboration with the German Cancer Research Centre, and on neurophilosophy and philosophy of cognitive science with the Centre for Neuroeconomics at the University of Zurich.

Visiting scholar (2024) at the Department of Philosophy at New York University and research assistant (postdoc) in philosophy at the Universities of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Munich (LMU)
