Prof. Dr. Michael Bergunder
Professor of Religious Studies and Intercultural Theology–Mission,
University of Heidelberg
Prof. Bergunder's areas of emphasis are, among others, Pentecostal-charismatic movements, modern esoteric religions and new religious movements as well as south Indian religious history.
His publications include „The South Indian Pentecostal Movement in the Twentieth Century", „Studying Global Pentecostalism. Theories and Methods" (Co-Editor) and „Ritual, Caste, and Colonial Discourse in South India" (Co-Editor). He is Co-Editor of the Journal „Neue Hallesche Berichte. Quellen und Studien zur Geschichte und Gegenwart Südindiens“.
