Is the current age of globalization coming to an end? A decade ago, globalization appeared to be an unstoppable force. Today, fears of losing control have led countries to raise fences, to confront liberal Western values and to withdraw from the European Union. This lecture series invites eminent scholars and policymakers to discuss challenges to international cooperation. Topics to be covered include the prospects for development cooperation, global terror risks, the European Monetary Union, Brexit, and the refugee crisis. The lecture series is part of "Field of Focus 4: Self-Regulation and Regulation: Individuals and Organisations."
