ERC - Narratives of Terror and Disappearance

Supported by an ERC Starting Independent Research Grant, the project analyzes the narrative forms of terror during the last dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983).

Particular attention is paid to the ways in which fantastic narrative characterizes the narratives of terror and, moreover, whether the fantastic as a mode of cultural communication, tradition, and art rather perpetuates or helps to overcome traumatizing experiences.
