The Research Alumni Network currently consists of approximately 400 international scientists that are staying or have stayed in Heidelberg to conduct research. The network offers special services to all international PhD students, postdocs and established scientists during and after their research stay.

Network Meeting of the Humboldt Foundation for Research-Alumni

HumboldtSix international scientists visiting Heidelberg research institutions participated in the Research-Alumni Conference Germany of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Berlin in November 2013. The objective of the meeting was to recruit future Research-Alumni as "ambassadors" of German research institutions while strengthening their bonds with the host universities from the very first day. The Research-Alumni Network lives by and with its members – visiting scientists that are currently conducting research in Heidelberg or have already concluded their stay and are continuing their work elsewhere.
