Engage Contribute to events
Enable diversity and open up different perspectives through your contributions to events in the HAI network
Whether it's career planning or leisure activities – variety, new ideas and different perspectives keep things exciting. The HAI network, with its diversity of people and lifestyles, offers a great pool for this. You too can contribute content or resources to the events.

Inspiring graduates
Support your former department at graduation ceremonies: After completing your studies, you are successful in your field or satisfied as a career switcher in a profession or industry that is atypical for your subject? Then make an inspiring contribution at a graduation ceremony, for example as a keynote speaker or as a participant in a moderated panel discussion. You can also get involved as a contact person, role model for career starters or as an ambassador for the HAI network at the HAI information stand.
Variety is the spice of life
In the “HAIlight” event series, HAI members take a look behind the scenes of the university, get to know new sides of Heidelberg or gain exciting insights into the lives and work of other network members. You can get involved here: Do you also have an interesting job, an unusual leisure activity or a topic that excites you and that you would like to introduce to other network members? Get in touch with us with your suggestion for a HAIlight event and thus spice up this series.
Making resources available
Not all HAI events can take place on university premises or be organized with internal resources. Would you like to support HAI accordingly and, for example, offer premises for an event? Do you have access to technical, event-relevant equipment and can thus make a contribution? Would you like to make a financial commitment and contribute to the success of an activity, for example by covering some or all of the catering or material costs? Then please contact us.
Personal support
Would you like to support HAI personally at events? Can you imagine participating as a speaker or moderating an event? You can also get involved in other tasks, such as helping with admission to an event, preparing catering and setting up and dismantling. Or are you a talented coordinator with a good overview to keep things running smoothly? Either way, we welcome support of any kind.
