At our events in Germany and abroad, you will gain insights into a wide variety of areas and make contacts with interesting people. The best events are those that are designed by members for the network – we invite you to contribute in terms of content.
Emeriti – Scientists for Life
You are a scientist in retirement but you can not sit still? Then the Research Alumni Network (RAN) could be of interest to you: a platform for new contacts, events, newsletters with information from and for the network. As a mentor, you can pass on your experience to young scientists, and as a RAN Ambassador, you can provide information about Heidelberg as a research location.
Get Involved in Alumni Groups
Do you enjoy new challenges and activities? Then get involved in one of the many HAI networks, be it regionally in Germany, internationally around the world or professionally for your subject area. Our groups are happy to welcome people who take on small and large tasks in shaping the group, who step in spontaneously or who are a reliable support in the long term.
Share Experiences
Your life experience can help the younger generation in answering questions on planning professional and private success? You can point out ways to overcome supposed hurdles in life? Or are you looking for a younger expert on a particular topic and would like to benefit from the expertise of the next generation? Then participate in mentoring at HAI and exchange valuable experiences with other network members.
