Member Ursula Redeker

Dr. Ursula Redeker is former Spokesperson of the Executive Board of Roche Diagnostics GmbH and former Managing Director of Roche Deutschland Holding GmbH.

Ursula Redeker studied chemistry at the University of Bonn and the University of California in Santa Barbara, USA. She subsequently completed a doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in the field of organic chemistry at the University of Bonn. In 1994, she joined F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. in Basel, Switzerland. Following various positions in pharmaceutical research & development in Basel, this native of Bonn became Head of Global Preclinical Development within pharma research and, in 2007, took over as Head of Global Technical Research. In 2010, she was appointed Head of the Technical Development of Therapeutic Proteins in Europe. From 2014 to 2019. Ursula Redeker was Spokesperson of the Executive Board of Roche Diagnostics GmbH. In this role, she was responsible for the two German sites of Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Mannheim and Penzberg and a member of the Executive Board of Roche Deutschland Holding GmbH.

Ursula Redeker is also member of the EIT Health Supervisory Board, member of the Board of Trustees of the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg and member of the Board of ABB AG, Germany.

She has been a member of Heidelberg University’s Academic Advisory Council since 2020.
