Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer Katja Patzel-Mattern

Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer is historian Prof. Dr Katja Patzel-Mattern. She heads the Economic and Social History division with the research group History of Childhood and Care at Heidelberg University’s Department of History.

Her responsibilities as Vice-Rector include promoting the transfer of knowledge and technology from university research findings, as well as initiating cooperation agreements, partnerships and exchange relations in the sphere of industry, politics and society.
