University Administration Division 8 – Foundations and Assets

The Division for Foundations and Assets provides support in all matters related to contributions, foundations and bequests to the university. Division staff also serve as contacts for the friends and supporters of the university, who express their allegiance to Ruperto Carola through financial support or as dedicated volunteers. Fostering contacts as well as garnering new supporters are core responsibilities of the division, along with managing the assets of the university’s foundations and endowment funds. Donations and revenue from these assets are made available to the beneficiary institutes and faculties to promote research and teaching at Heidelberg University in a myriad of ways.
