The success of Digital Humanities depends on interdisciplinary cooperation at equal level. For this reason, the Interdisciplinary Forum of Digital Textual Sciences has used the funding in 2019 to network within and outside the university and to present the diversity of computational textual science to junior researchers from the perspective of both - the humanities and computer sciences. The keynote event in April as well as the first Interdisciplinary Corpus Contest in September were new event formats in the InFoDiTex program, designed to present the forum as a DH service – as a contact for junior researchers in Heidelberg – and for a wider audience by highlighting links to the non-academic data workers (e.g. journalism, teaching and education). With the experience of the Corpus Contest, the established pillars of the forum – information, reflection and networking – will be expandened with practical courses (e.g. hands-on workshops) using explorative approaches to awake interest in Digital Humanities among students.
