hei_TRACKS Leadership Coaching for Junior Research Group Leaders
The leadership coaching offers you temporary support in consciously and professionally shaping your leadership role as a junior group leader or third-party funded project leaders with personnel responsibilities (e.g. SFB sub-project leaders with “Promotionsrecht”, DFG project leaders with staff responsibility). You can take advantage of it at any time during this period.
The leadership coaching offer is part of heiTRACKS Career Support.
Content and process
In a confidential dialogue with your coach, you will work through your individual questions, e.g. on employee leadership, self-leadership, decision-making, your own positioning in the university context, managing difficult situations, goal-oriented communication and leadership styles.
In doing so, you will consider a variety of perspectives, exchange ideas with the coach as a neutral counterpart, find your own answers, strengthen your resources and prepare the next steps.
- The leadership coaching process usually entails three to six appointments of 90 minutes each every three to six weeks.
- The exact procedure will be agreed upon during the initial meeting with the internal coach Dr. Susanne Scheer.
- This offer is part of heiTRACKS career support and free of charge for the target group.
If appropriate, you can also be referred to an external coach for leadership coaching. Please note that the costs are usually financed from personal, institute, or third-party funds.
