Course Content
In the Bachelor’s degree programme, students will learn the fundamentals of the Akkadian language and the highly-complex cuneiform scripts and gain an overview of the history and cultural history of the ancient Near East. In pursuing the degree programme as a minor subject, students are required, within a relatively short period of time, to master the basics of the ancient Near East Akkadian language and to learn the cuneiform script in its various forms.
Course Structure
This programme may be combined as a 25% minor with a 75% major in another subject.
