Exchange Programs Macquarie University, Sydney

For graduate students, Macquarie University in Sydney offers the possibility of one or two exchange places with a tuition fee waiver. The exchange places are mainly offered to graduate students in the natural sciences, but may also be open to other subjects. A list of possible courses need to be enclosed with the application.

Exemption from tuition fees at the host university; Costs such as Student Service Fee, Recreational Fees and Health insuranceare to be paid by the student.
Requirement
Three completed semesters by the beginning of the exchange in Australia, Language certificate (IELTS or TOEFL - no Home Edition Test)

in English:

  • Application form with passport style photo
  • Written CV, including study progress (1 page)
  • Letter of motivation with study plan for preferred universities in Australia (1-2 pages)
  • Two letters of recommendation from university teachers*
  • Official transcript / List of study achievements with average grade and confirmation by the faculty
  • Copy of Bachelor certificate, if applicable
  • Language certificate (IELTS or TOEFL - no Home Edition test)
  • Copy of secondary school certificate / high school diploma

*The teachers must send the letters of recommendation directly to: auslandsstudium@zuv.uni-heidelberg.de
