Students with a master's degree and doctoral students can apply for the university diploma “Entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial project management” starting August 28. It is aimed at those who wish to be trained in project management and entrepreneurship in an international and diverse setting and enables them to recognise new opportunities, propose innovative solutions and manage projects for small start-ups or large companies. It is a cooperation between universities in Paris, Prague, Geneva, Milan, Warsaw and Heidelberg, which will take place online and in Milan and Warsaw from November 2024 to June 2025.
The university diploma "Entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial project management" consists of two modules. An 80-hour entrepreneurship module, which introduces students to the basics of entrepreneurship and is divided into six hours of online teaching per week in English. This module covers topics such as identifying opportunities, fostering creativity, applying design thinking, developing viable business models, seeking funding, organising business activities and developing persuasive communication skills.
The second module focuses on project management in the field of ecological or social innovation. Multidisciplinary teams work on a topic given by a partner of the 4EU+ universities. The teams have seven months to design, test and present an innovative solution to this challenge. This hands-on experience helps participants develop skills in innovative project leadership, management, teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The course begins on November 20, 2024. Travel costs are subsidised by the universities of the respective applicants. Heidelberg University will cover travel costs up to a maximum of €500. Participants must pay a tuition fee. The exact amount will be announced at a later date; last year the fee was €500. Interested members of Heidelberg University can apply by September 29, 2024 with a letter of intent, a CV and their current study status to Rahel Weber: rahel.weber@uni-heidelberg.de
