Gerald Linti

born 1962 in Munich, study of chemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (1982-1988); Diploma 1988; Ph.D. 1990; ibid. (boron-phosphorus chemistry, Prof. Dr. H. Nöth); DFG post-doctoral fellow (1990-1991); Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Prof. R. R. Schrock); Assistant, University of Munich (1992-1994); DFG habilitation grant at the University of Karlsruhe (1995-1996); Habilitation and Priv.-Doz., University of Karlsruhe (1996); Heisenberg fellow since 1997, Professor at the University of Heidelberg since 2000, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Earth Sciences from October 2014 - 2017
