Vita

Julia Wießmann is a PhD candidate and associate lecturer at the Institute of Political Science at the chair of Prof. Dr. Croissant since April 2022.

Her research interests extend into the topics of comparative politics, social movement studies, and (qualitative) conflict studies. Her regional focus is on Southeastern Europe, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. 

Julia Wießmann studied political science, sociology, philosophy, and business and economics at the Universities of Würzburg, Heidelberg, and Prague. She graduated with a Master of Arts degree in March 2022. During her studies she was involved in various interdisciplinary research projects. A detailed curriculum vitae can be found here.
