本刊承仕女踴躍歡迎，銷數因之激增，出乎意料，但仝人等不敢自滿，擬再增加銅版紙八頁，使所登之照片，益能清晰內容更為豐富，文字則刊於上等道林紙，尤為美觀，經此改良之後，成本較前逾出一倍有餘，自三十八期起實行，每冊改售一角。
