Excursions FRIDAY 11. TO SUNDAY 13. JULY: THREE-DAY EXCURSION TO SOUTHERN BAVARIA
Magnificent Bavarian buildings and breathtaking nature!
Experience a varied three-day excursion to the far south of Germany, which combines culture, history and fascinating nature. We visit the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle, which is one of the most famous sights in Europe with its breathtaking views and fairytale towers. You can also discover the picturesque old town of Füssen, which inspires with its charming architecture and medieval history.
Another highlight is the baroque Wieskirche in Steingaden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a true masterpiece of the Rococo. The magnificent church is one of the most important religious buildings in the region. The impressive Ettal Monastery, an outstanding example of Bavarian Baroque architecture, which fascinates with its history and magnificent architecture, is also on the program of our trip.
We spend two nights in the youth hostel of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the well-known winter sports town and ideal starting point for further discovery tours into the breathtaking nature of the Alps. The program also includes a hike through the spectacular Partnach Gorge, a natural wonder that impresses with its fascinating waterfalls and narrow gorges. A visit to the idyllic Eibsee is also on the agenda, which invites you to linger with its picturesque location and clear water. The particularly brave have the opportunity to conquer the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany, by cable car from here.
