Studying in a foreign country is associated with a multitude of challenges: An unknown city, a different culture and perhaps even a new language. Heidelberg University supports international students before and during their studies in Heidelberg.
Heidelberg University´s advisory service gives international students the opportunity to find answers to their questions relating to applications, financing and living in Heidelberg prior to their stay. During their studies at Heidelberg University, international students are also offered various support services, such as orientation days and the Buddy Program.

Not only are you in a foreign country, but now you need to manage your everyday life on your own, far from home. Within the framework of the "Buddy Programme", Heidelberg students are helping them out.
