Exkursionsprogramm SATURDAY – 19. JULY: 4-CASTLE BOAT CRUISE TROUGH THE NECKAR VALLEY
A relaxing break in the Neckar Valley - the perfect end to the semester!
The last excursion of the semester offers a welcome break from exam preparation and a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Neckar landscape. Our tour begins in Neckarsteinach, where we discover the history and impressive sights of the city with an informative walking tour. A special highlight will be a visit to one of the "Four Castles", which tower over the Neckar valley and offer a spectacular view of the surrounding area.
Afterwards, you will take a leisurely ride on a ship of the White Fleet through the picturesque Neckar valley back towards Heidelberg. During the cruise, you will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and can take in the breathtaking nature along the river in peace.
Once in Ziegelhausen, a short walk awaits us to the Benedictine monastery Stift Neuburg, which inspires with its historical significance and impressive architecture. There you will have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the monastery and learn more about the history of the monastery. To top off the excursion, an entertaining beer tasting will be offered, where you can get to know some local specialties. We end the afternoon on the terrace of the monastery - with a magnificent view over the Neckar, which makes this tour an unforgettable experience.
