Excursions SATURDAY – 31. MAY: BIKE TOUR TO LADENBURG

Discovery tour along the Neckar

It's getting sporty! We will cycle together along the beautiful Neckar to nearby Ladenburg, which was once an important center of the region as Roman Lopodonum - long before Heidelberg became a well-known city. Today, traces of this Roman metropolis are only visible in a few places, but if you take a closer look, you can discover the fascinating history of the town.

In the afternoon, you have the choice  of experiencing another exciting aspect of Ladenburg's history with the Carl Benz Car Museum. Alternatively, you can explore the idyllic fruit farms between Ladenburg and Heidelberg, which are particularly tempting in spring and summer with their extensive strawberry fields.

There is something for every taste - whether history, technology or the beauty of nature!
