Exkursionsprogramm SUNDAY– 28. JUNE BLACK FOREST

Experience the Black Forest, one of Germany's most fascinating and popular vacation regions, with its breathtaking nature, deep forests and historical treasures. Our day begins with a drive along the famous Black Forest High Road, which takes us through some of the most spectacular scenery in Germany. We reach the mystical Mummelsee, nestled in the wild and romantic low mountain range, which exudes a very special flair. The area around the lake invites you to take a short break and enjoy the magnificent views.

Afterwards, we visit the impressive Alpirsbach monastery complex, a true masterpiece of Romanesque-Gothic architecture. This monastery complex has a 900-year history, which you can experience at first hand on a guided tour. Immerse yourself in the religious life of past centuries and learn more about the historical significance of the monastery for the region.

After a lunch break, the tour continues to the “Vogtsbauernhof” in Gutach, a traditional open-air museum in the heart of the Black Forest. Here you will discover original Black Forest houses that provide a unique insight into the hard everyday lives of people in the Black Forest up until the 20th century. The restored buildings and vivid exhibitions will show you what life was like for people in this harsh but beautiful region.
