Semesterbegleitprogramm Avoiding Plagiarism: How to cite a source at university
Content
The course, which is offered by the University Library, will provide students with an overview of questions and issues related to quoting/citing and how to avoid plagiarising - irrespective of the subject. We will focus on the following questions: What should I quote and how much should I quote? How can I use images and diagrams? What is plagiarism and how can I avoid it? This course will not focus on the technical features of quoting/citing style but instead on the basic principles of using third-party texts and images.
Please note
This course will be offered in German. Prerequisites are therefore good German language skills (min. Intermediate Course II).
