Depending on the application and admission procedure for your desired degree programme, you are required to submit an application to Heidelberg University prior to the application deadline.
If you have applied for a degree programme, you will find your letter of admission or rejection in your application account. Subjects with nationwide admission restrictions (human medicine, pharmacy and dentistry) are informed about the enrolment formalities by email immediately after admission. Enrolment takes place digitally via the heiCO portal and in writing.
Enrolment in undergraduate degree programmes
Subjects without admission restrictions or entrance examinations
Enrolment for courses with no admission restrictions initially takes place online. The enrolment application (print copy of the online registration) and all required documents must be submitted to the Student Administration office prior to expiration of the enrolment deadline.
Features specific to certain degree programmes
Applications for the degree programme in Medical Informatics, BA 100% must be made to Heilbronn University. Further information on the procedure can be found in our Study Programme Finder. Select your subject there.

Enrolment or change of degree programme?
Please note: If you are already enrolled at Heidelberg University, you are not required to re-enrol. In this case, it is sufficient to just change the degree programme.
