Study Application & Enrolment

Admitted applicants must apply for enrolment at the university for all degree programmes by the deadline. The respective procedures differ depending on the applicants’ desired degree, the number of semesters and the particular prerequisites of the prospective students.

Magister Theologiae

The degree programme Magister Theologiae is equal to a full degree programme in Protestant theology. Graduates who take the ecclesiastical examination normally go on to work in a rectory of an Evangelical church. The faculty examination corresponds to the academic degree of Magister/Magistra Theologiae (Master of Theology).

DOCTORATE

Doctorate

Acceptance to a doctoral programme is contingent on candidates having previously completed a university degree programme. The doctoral examination is an academic examination which, if successfully completed, culminates in conferral of a doctorate.
