Exchange Programs Coimbra Group
Student Exchange Network
Students of Heidelberg University can apply for an exchange to one of the partner universities within the framework of the “Student Exchange Network” of the Coimbra Group. The Coimbra Group is a network of renowned European universities. Within this network, 20 universities in 19 countries are available for the exchange program.

Requirements | Applications are open to students of all disciplines who have completed at least two semesters of BA studies at the beginning of their stay abroad and have appropriate language skills (min. B1). Please note that some of the participating universities exclude certain subjects. |
Application
You can apply for the exchange programs via an online platform. Information on the required documents can be found on our pages and in the FAQs. If you have any questions about the application process, the Study Abroad Infocenter of the International Relations Department will be happy to help you.
Only complete applications can be considered.

- Online application form
- Curriculum vitae, course of studies (formulated, approx. 1 page)
- Letter of motivation incl. study plan (1-2 pages)
- 2 recommendation letters from university professors
- List of academic achievements (transcript)
- Language certificate
- High school diploma
