Exchange Programs National University of Singapore
Within the framework of the exchange agreement with the National University of Singapore (NUS), several places are available for students from Heidelberg. The language of instruction is English.
The university is one of the best in Asia and offers a wide range of study opportunities in the natural sciences as well as in the humanities and social sciences. Due to admission restrictions at NUS, students from Heidelberg unfortunately do NOT have the opportunity to take courses at the Faculty of Law, the Business School or in the Department of Medicine at NUS.
The study places are open for students of all departments. A specialized study in the same subject as at Heidelberg University depends on the courses offered by the partner university and is therefore not guaranteed.
The course offer for advanced master students in the bilateral exchange program is limited. Therefore, the space is primarily for bachelor's students or first-year master's students. A list of courses currently available for exchange students can be found in the following document:

- Letter of motivation/Statement of purpose (approx. 1-2 pages)
- Two letters of recommendation from university professors*
- Transcript of records
- if applicable, intermediate examination/preliminary diploma/bachelor's degree certificate
- English language certificate
- High school diploma
*Each of the university teachers needs to send the letter of recommendation to
