AQUAI GmbH

AQUAI GmbH, founded by Jonathan Weinert and Pascal Perle and supported by an EXIST start-up grant, is revolutionizing home swimming training with the SwimLoop. Their product, an AI-supported virtual swimming trainer, analyzes swimming techniques and provides detailed performance data while reducing electricity costs, noise and CO₂ emissions compared to traditional counter-current systems. The SwimLoop tracker, attached to an elastic strap with force sensor, measures swimming power and transmits data to mobile devices via Bluetooth. Ideal for home pools, SwimLoop offers an efficient, fun training experience and is an innovative solution for swimmers of all levels to improve their technique and performance.

EVIglance AG

EVIglance offers a free, systematic and always up-to-date evidence map for medical topics. This platform enables professionals to quickly access meta-analyses and randomized controlled trials to make informed decisions. Maps on pancreatic surgery and appendicitis are currently available. Further evidence maps are currently being developed in collaboration with experts from various medical fields. EVIglance encourages collaboration and invites interested parties to contribute ideas for future maps. The platform is accessible via a web app and mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Little Life Support

Little Life Support has set itself the task of providing comprehensive and practical training for caregivers and relatives of children and adults with epilepsy. It offers a training program in a blended learning format. Online modules and face-to-face courses are combined to impart theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Participants acquire basic knowledge in the online module, which is deepened in the face-to-face course. First aid measures and the administration of emergency medication are practiced there. The aim is to create safety in an emergency and ensure a protected environment for those affected. The confidence gained in dealing with people with epilepsy also promotes their inclusion. The course program is aimed at teachers, therapists and nursery staff as well as interested relatives of affected persons.

With Prevanti, founder Gabi Schulze-König brings the topic of cancer prevention and early detection directly into the workplace. She provides employers with individual advice on occupational cancer prevention and the corresponding support in implementing specific measures. The basis is a concept developed individually for each customer with suggestions for concrete, low-threshold measures for cancer prevention in the workplace. Employers benefit from their expertise and strong network during implementation. For example, topics such as skin cancer, bowel cancer, breast cancer, but also diabetes/nutrition, addiction and exercise etc. can be combined with existing occupational health management.
