- Hydrothermal fluid activity and mineralization (dating of brittle-ductile tectonics; pressure-temperature and (fluid) chemical conditions; mainly European Alps)
- Magma evolution in the continental crust, including volcanism and (partial) melting (South/Central America, Bohemian Massif, Namibia)
