- Geochemistry, mantle geodynamics, noble gas isotopes and the evolution of the Earth: Origin of the Earth, core mantle differentiation, formation of the terrestrial atmosphere, evolution and structure of the Earth's mantle, interaction with the lithosphere
- Environmental and paleoclimate aspects of noble gas nuclides: Noble gases as tracers of early atmospheric evolution, 39Ar in environmental studies, surface exposure dating using cosmogenic nuclides
- Isotope chronology: Radiometric dating using radiogenic noble gas nuclides (e.g., 40Ar/39Ar), calibration of age monitor minerals and 40K decay constants
- Cosmochemistry, planetology and terrestrial planets: Cosmic dust in the interstellar medium and in protoplanetary disks, dust agglomeration, formation of small bodies in the solar system
- Impacts of asteroids, evolution of planetary surfaces: Radiometric dating of terrestrial impact structures, impact metamorphosed meteorites from asteroids, Mars and the moon
- Space instruments: Analyses of cosmic dust (CDA/Cassini, COSIMA/ROSETTA, LEOPART), in situ instrument for radiometric dating on planetary surfaces (ISAGE)
