UNI-ID

All members of Heidelberg University are currently automatically receiving a UNI-ID. Students enrolling and all staff at the beginning of their service.This university ID is linked to an e-mail address that looks like this: 
<uni-id>@uni-heidelberg.de

ZAW employees should contact the ZAW IT Service directly for setting up their Exchange mailboxes on their service computers:
inst-service-zaw@urz.uni-heidelberg.de

INSTMAIL

Many employees of the ZAW currently use the Instmail2 server, which is set up by the Heidelberg University computer center. The address is usually
<first name>.<last name>@zaw.uni-heidelberg.de

Access to the mail takes place externally via:
https://mail.zaw.uni-heidelberg.de/
or via:
https://wwwmail.urz.uni-heidelberg.de/horde/imp/

It should be noted that the complete address must be entered when logging in.
We recommend access via the first https address.

If you have problems with your account, please contact the INSTMAIL representative of the ZAW directly:
instmail.admin@zaw.uni-heidelberg.de

At the moment there is a change to the UNI-ID,
therefore no new INSTMAIL-accounts will be created.
