Study Abroad
The International Relations Division supports students interested in going abroad for an internship or for a portion of their studies. The first place to go for assistance in planning your stay abroad is the Information Team for Study Abroad. Here you will find an overview of available programs offered by the university, information on funding possibilities, and assistance with the application process.
You can also contact the responsible members of the department 7.3. staff, who are responsible for exchange programs and international cooperation. Several direct exchange programs and state programs that Heidelberg University offers in cooperation with U.S. universities can be found here.
The Heidelberg Center for American Studies, too, offers an overview of exchange programs for students interested in spending one or more semesters at an American University.
