Commissioner of the Rectorate Anti-Corruption Commissioner

Corruption is a widespread social phenomenon. In the area of public administration, corruption leads to substantial damage, but it also causes harm with serious consequences, in particular through a loss of trust in the institution. Hence, it is the responsibility of Heidelberg University to guard against such legal offences and to fight corruption itself.

The anti-corruption commissioner is authorized by the Rectorate and advises university committees, governing bodies and executive staff on how to prevent and deal with corruption. He is available as a contact person for all university staff in matters of corruption prevention and control.
