Exceptional regulations for the M.Ed. sub-programmes Physics and Computer Science

Exclusively for the M.Ed. sub-programmes Physics and Computer Science there is a temporary exemption until the summer semester 2020. This means that an application for the M.Ed. is also possible for graduates of a bachelor's degree in computer science or physics without teaching position-related elements and possibly already existing study shares in a suitable second subject (usually mathematics or physics).

The prerequisite for this is that the missing academic achievements of a corresponding teaching position-related Bachelor's programme in Computer Science or Physics and the selected second subject have been made up by the time the Master's thesis is registered in the M.Ed..

Upon completion of the Master's programme, the same course content as in the consecutive teacher training model (profile line "Lehramt Gymnasium") must be provided. This also requires the study of a second subject (usually mathematics or physics).

In addition to the regular application documents, proof of an interview must also be provided by the subject advisor of both M.Ed. sub-programmes.
