Vocational Higher Education Entrance Qualification
Vocationally qualified applicants who do not hold a higher education qualification have two options for beginning a degree programme at Heidelberg University. A prerequisite in both cases is participation in one or, if two subjects have been chosen, two advising sessions, in which the applicants will be informed about the content, structure, and requirements of the degree programme as well as the opportunities for specific preparation for pursuing studies, taking into account the requirements of the intended degree programme.
Advising will be conducted by an academic advisor for the specific degree programme. Advising sessions held at other universities in Baden-Württemberg will also be recognised.
