Some undergraduate degree programmes do not have admission restrictions for entry to an advanced academic semester.

Applications for degree programmes without admission restrictions must also be submitted in due time via the heiCO portal of Heidelberg University.

EU/EEA citizens and international applicants with a German university entrance qualification

Students wishing to apply for transfer in subjects without admission restrictions beyond the first academic semester, must provide a written statement confirming the recognition of any previously gained credits, and their suitability to enter a course in an advanced academic semester (Certificate of Transferable Credits).

Applicants from non-EU/EEA countries

Students wishing to apply for transfer to subjects without admission restrictions beyond the first academic semester, must provide a written statement confirming the recognition of any previously gained credits, and their suitability to enter a course in an advanced academic semester (Certificate of Transferable Credits).
