INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS FROM NON-EU/EEA COUNTRIES PROCEDURE WITH ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

The purpose of this procedure is to determine the applicant’s aptitude and motivation for the selected degree programme.

Anyone who does not fulfil the minimum requirements to study the given subject, will not be admitted to the degree programme at Heidelberg University. 

International applicants from non-EU/EEA countries with a foreign university entrance qualification (e.g., High School Diploma, Attestat, Maturità, etc.) must submit an application for admission for any subject to Heidelberg University.

ADMISSION AND COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for any degree programme (Bachelor degree or state examination) at Heidelberg University must hold a university entrance qualification and have very good German language skills. Additional qualifications may be required for certain subjects. Further information on the requirements in the respective courses can be found in the subject’s respective selection and admission regulations.
