Fees for Overdue Items

When a borrowed item is not returned in time, a reminder will first be sent out to the borrower (via email). If the overdue items are not returned in the course of one week, a fee will be charged. The fee per item is:

1st admonition: 1.50 € per item

2nd admonition: 3.00 € per item

3rd admonition: 6.50 € per item

After the first admonition has been dispatched, no further books may be borrowed until all fines have been paid.

Please note: if additional administrative efforts or errands are required after the 2nd admonition, another 20 € may be charged!
